King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by the University Relations Office and the EESH Center, together with Green Heart student leaders, participated in the “Multicultural Interfaith Relations: Bringing Happiness to the Thung Khru Community” event. The festivities took place from December 19–21, 2025, at the Chaloem Phrakiat Sports Center, Thung Khru District, Bangkok.
KMUTT’s participation focused on instilling positive attitudes toward environmental stewardship and energy conservation among attendees. Under the concept “KMUTT: Learning alongside the Community,” the university hosted an educational exhibition to raise awareness about sustainable resource management while strengthening the bond between the university and its Thung Khru network.
In addition to environmental knowledge, KMUTT organized recreational activities to bring year-end smiles and happiness to the local community. Interactive Q&A sessions with prizes created a vibrant and friendly atmosphere at the booth.
The event was a collaborative effort between the public sector, private organizations, and civil society to preserve the unique cultural identity and heritage of Thung Khru. KMUTT’s involvement aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Goal 13 (Climate Action): Raising awareness on climate change and environmental protection.
- Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions): Promoting peaceful and inclusive societies.
- Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Strengthening collaborations for sustainable development.
