Safety Policy

KMUTT provides a pilot model and best practices for safety management and promotes implementation of systems aligned with SDG 2030 for all staff, students, and surrounding communities. The university aims to expand safety management to improve quality of life and safety for everyone. Therefore, KMUTT is committed to:

1. 1 Develop a safety management system at KMUTT that complies with or aligns to SDG 2030, following safety standards and guidelines and integrating safety into all university activities.
2. 2 Implement the safety management system for all staff and students, ensuring security, safety, and health through safety audits and continual improvement.
3. 3 Promote and distribute safety policy, rules, and best-practice information to all students, staff, and adjunct staff working for KMUTT.
4. 4 Focus on five safety areas: laboratory and workshop safety, workplace safety, life safety, road safety, and food safety in line with SDG 2030.
5. 5 Develop chemical and hazardous waste management within KMUTT, promote reduced use of toxic chemicals, and comply with safety standards.
