The 7 Core Principles
Guiding our institutional investment and procurement framework.
Transparency & Value
Procurement must take into account the worthiness, transparency, efficiency, effectiveness, and strict accountability.
Continuous Procurement
Execution of continuous procurement without adhering solely to the traditional budget year boundaries (Rolling Plan 1+2).
Systematic Connection
The work must have a systematic connection by considering upstream to downstream processes to ensure the delivery of quality work.
Professionalism
University employees are mandated to conduct all procurement activities in an ethical and highly professional manner.
Digital Operations
The university promotes the utilization of information systems under the "Anytime Anywhere Anyplace" concept to facilitate the process.
Agile Management
Operating continuously to improve work processes. We accept changes under the policy of "dispersed but work collectively" to reduce delays and maximize learning space utility.
Compliance with Green University Policy
All procurement must strictly comply with the Green University Policy. This includes the deliberate selection of environmentally-friendly materials, non-toxic chemicals, and appliances that directly contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and environmental impact.
Green Procurement in Action
To enforce the Sustainable Investment Policy, KMUTT extends strict minimization policies directly to our suppliers and vendors. Our procurement framework emphasizes sustainable material selection, energy efficiency, and responsible waste management.
Through our Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) framework, we are actively supporting Thailand’s 20-year masterplan for sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12).
Reduction of Disposable Items
Suppliers must avoid single-use plastics, foam materials, and unnecessary packaging. Reusable containers and bulk packaging are highly encouraged.
Eco-Labeled Appliances
New water and electrical appliances procured for projects must carry a Green Label or Green Certificate (e.g., automatic eco-sensor taps saving >50,000 m² of water annually).
Waste Reduction in Construction
Contractors are mandated to minimize construction debris, separate recyclable materials, and utilize FSC-certified paper and non-toxic chemicals.
