The Evolution of Excellence
February 4, 1960: The Foundation
Established as the Thonburi Technology Institute (TTI) by the Department of Vocational Education, with a mission to train skilled technicians and technologists for the nation’s developing industry.
March 7, 1998: The New Era
Granting the power to establish new faculties and introduce advanced academic programs, TTI officially became King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), expanding its vision to reach global standards.

Bangkhuntien Campus
Thailand's first University Technology Park. Covering 133 acres, this campus focuses on food, feed, biofuel, and biopharmaceuticals (3F+1P). It is home to the Pilot Plant Development and eco-friendly mangrove forest research zones.
Ratchaburi Campus
A 442-acre residential college in a province rich with cultural heritage. This campus provides a peaceful landscape perfectly suited for academic learning and high-impact research in engineering and nature.
Knowledge Xchange (KX)
A 20-floor vertical innovation community in central Bangkok. Dedicated to stimulating knowledge exchange and entrepreneurship, KX is where industry players and innovation alliances meet near BTS Wong Wian Yai.
