On February 7, 2026, the Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (EESH) Center organized a comprehensive Basic Firefighting Training and Fire Evacuation Drill, following the standards set by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. The session was held for staff and students within Building Zone 10, which includes:

  • Baan Thammaraksa 2 (S5)
  • Baan Thammaraksa 1 (S6)
  • KMUTT Child Development Center (S7)

The morning session featured expert trainers from the Rat Burana Fire and Rescue Station, who provided essential knowledge and practical skills for initial emergency response. The afternoon session involved a simulated emergency situation and a full evacuation drill. These activities aimed to strengthen preparedness and ensure seamless coordination between students, staff, and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) in accordance with international safety standards.

This project is a key part of KMUTT’s safety policy and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being): Prioritizing the health and safety of the campus community.
  • Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities): Enhancing risk management and creating a safe, sustainable educational environment.
