Mr. Siriraj Yana was selected as a youth representative to participate in the “Second Workshop on Developing Mechanisms for Meaningful Youth Participation in Climate and Environmental Action in Thailand,” held from 22–24 August 2026 at TK Palace Hotel & Convention in Bangkok.
The workshop focused on jointly developing guidelines and advancing the establishment of the Thailand Youth Climate Council (TYCC). The proposed council aims to serve as a key mechanism for meaningful youth participation, providing a platform for young people to voice their opinions, exchange knowledge, and contribute to concrete action on environmental challenges.
Organized by the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE) in collaboration with UNICEF Thailand, the workshop aimed to strengthen young people’s capabilities and connect Thai youth networks to address climate challenges, linking participation in national policymaking with environmental action on the international stage.
