On April 24, 2567, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health Management Center (EESH Center) collaborated with the Physical Resource Management Office, Mahidol University, Bang Khun Thian Campus, to organize the Mangrove Forest Planting activity for the month of April 2567. Students, staff, and the community of Mahidol University participated in planting 300 mangrove seedlings and 100 mangrove trees along the shoreline in a new area, Plot 4, of Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Technological University, Panthai Norasing Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province.

This activity aimed to conserve and restore national resources, promote environmental balance, mitigate the impacts of greenhouse gas emissions, and preserve biodiversity. Additionally, it aligned with sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 13: Climate Action, Goal 14: Life Below Water, and Goal 15: Life on Land.

Furthermore, this initiative contributed to the sustainable development agenda by focusing on and advocating for carbon neutrality to reinvest in society and our world. It promoted sustainable development goals, including raising awareness about the importance of limited resources, preparing for climate change, and addressing the impacts of global warming.
