EESH in Collaboration with the KMUTT President’s Office Building Conducts Fire Evacuation Drill

The Energy Environmental Safety and Health Office (EESH) in collaboration with the President’s Office Building at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Bang Mod Campus, organized a fire evacuation drill specifically for the personnel of the President’s Office Building on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The training session prepared participants for fire evacuation, reviewed fire suppression plans, and enhanced understanding and skills in preparing various systems for an actual fire evacuation scenario. Following the drill, this fire evacuation exercise was conducted in accordance with law and policies on energy, environmental safety, and occupational health management. Executives, faculty, students, the safety and emergency response team of KMUTT, Bang Pakok Hospital 1, Rat Burana Fire and Rescue Station, and Rat Burana Police Station participated and observed the drill, providing guidance and suggestions. With over 200 participants, this activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, emphasizing the importance of safety for students and university staff.
