EESH Center Hosts Participatory Energy Management Workshop on “Igniting Energy Conservation Awareness”

The Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (EESH) Center recently organized a sustainable participatory energy management training project titled “Igniting Energy Conservation Awareness within the Organization.”

The workshop took place on December 23, 2025, at the 11th-floor meeting room of the Knowledge Exchange (KX) Building. The session was led by Mr. Phraiwan Laowattanarasamee, Assistant Specialist in Energy Management Auditing and Certification, who shared his expertise with the staff and personnel stationed at the KX Building.

The primary objectives of this training were to ensure that participants recognize the value of energy and understand the environmental impacts of its consumption. The session provided systematic yet practical steps for building energy-saving habits. Additionally, participants engaged in knowledge exchange to propose innovative ways to promote energy conservation, the use of clean energy, and environmental protection.

This initiative is a core part of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT)’s mission to achieve sustainable energy and environmental success. By fostering a green learning society, the project aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy): Promoting energy efficiency and clean energy adoption.
  • Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production): Encouraging sustainable consumption patterns within the workplace.
  • Goal 13 (Climate Action): Taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts through energy reduction.
