The EV Charging Station and the EV Bus service are key components of the Sustainable Transportation Learning Center, developed by the KMUTT Automotive Research Cluster since 2017. These initiatives aim to promote clean energy transportation, enhance awareness of the environmental impact of technology, and encourage the adoption of sustainable mobility practices among students and staff.
As part of KMUTT’s mission to nurture Green Heart individuals, the initiative is designed to equip students and personnel with the knowledge, skills, and consciousness needed to become Change Agents for sustainability. Through these efforts, KMUTT seeks to inspire transformational change within Thai society and globally.
This initiative aligns with SDG 2030, particularly:
- Goal 7: Promote clean and affordable energy.
- Goal 11: Make cities and communities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
- Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
- Goal 17: Strengthen partnerships for sustainable development.
The EV Charging Station and EV Bus service exemplify KMUTT’s commitment to advancing clean energy solutions, reducing environmental impact, and fostering sustainable development in transportation.
