On February 3, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) held the opening ceremony for the “65 Years: A Sustainable Step Forward” project in celebration of the university’s 65th anniversary. The event took place at KMUTT’s football field.
During the ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Assistant to the President for Human Resources and Chair of the event, delivered a speech outlining the objectives of the project. Following this, Assistant Professor Dr. Santi Jaroenpornpattana, Vice President for Planning and Strategy, presided over the opening remarks. More than 345 participants registered for the event through the SAANSOOK application.
The “65 Years: A Sustainable Step Forward” project aims to promote health and sustainability among students and staff by encouraging participants to collectively achieve 422,500 steps within 65 days, from February 3 to April 9, 2025. Those who successfully reach the goal will receive commemorative rewards.
This initiative not only emphasizes personal well-being but also fosters a health-conscious and sustainable community, reflecting KMUTT’s long-standing commitment to continuous development over the past 65 years.
