SUSTAINABLE ACTIVITIES PROMOTION GROUP OF THE ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY, AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGEMENT CENTER, IN COLLABORATION WITH THE GREEN BICYCLE CLUB NETWORK OF KMUTT, ORGANIZES THE ‘PEDAL, SPIN, SHARE, MERIT YEAR 2’ EVENT IN HONOR OF NATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY.”

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by the Sustainable Activities Promotion Group from the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Managemnent Center, collaborated with the Green Bicycle Club Network of KMUTT to host the “Pedal, Spin, Share, Merit Year 2” event on January 14, 2566 (2023 Gregorian calendar), in the Darul Ibadah community. The event featured cycling activities to promote s sustainable cyeling and walking societies under the KMUTT Walk & Bike Society. It also included community learning experie ences and Children’s Day activities for the youth of the Darul Ibadah community. The event encouraged the “Pass on Happiness” s” initiative, where gifts were given to the community youth, promoting an environmentally friendly gift-giving culture under the “Sharing” project. This year, the second of its kind, saw participation from over 100 individuals. The event supports and encour urages students, staff, and the wider KMUTT community to engage in environ onmentally beneficial activities and to expand their positive contributions to nearby com nmunities. This aligns with the unives nstrate social responsibility and activities also align with the university’s su contribute positively to s society and the nation. The a ustainable develoom ment goals (SDGs 2030), specifically goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), 13 (Climate Action), and 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
