The Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health Center (EESH) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) Ratchaburi, in collaboration with the Safety Committee, organized the 7th annual Safety Week from June 30 to July 1, 2022. The event aimed to educate students about workplace safety awareness, understanding, and responsibility, promoting a uniform safety management system across all university departments.

The activities included an exhibition, safety training for laboratory and workshop workspaces, and a Safety test for students. Additionally, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and First-Aid Kits were distributed to KMUTT Ratchaburi. The event also featured the KMUTT Green Nudges initiative, encouraging students to change their behavior towards conserving the environment and energy.

This event aligns with KMUTT’s policy of becoming a sustainable green university with excellent management in energy, environment, and safety. It continuously develops to ensure sustainability, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. The aim is to cultivate a culture of safety-conscious work practices.
