On April 22nd, the Personnel Assessment and Competency Analysis Group of the Human Resources Development Office, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), organized a workshop on the topic “PI Brush Up” at the V Space (Video Conference Room), 14th floor, Learning Exchange (LX) Building.
The objective of the workshop was to enhance knowledge and understanding in work behavior assessment and effective team management approaches. This aims to enable personnel to plan for the development and advancement of their teams to sustainably achieve the goals of their respective departments.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thaweesak Kritjaroen, Assistant to the President for Personnel Affairs, honored the event by welcoming the participants and opening the workshop.
The target audience for this activity included key personnel involved in managing and supervising staff at the departmental level, such as Deans/Directors, Associate Deans for Administration, Faculty/Office Secretaries, Heads of Working Groups, as well as Human Resources (HR) officers from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Information Technology, Buildings and Grounds Management Office, and the Computer Center.
Expert speakers from Talent Codex Thailand shared knowledge from the PI Practitioner course, which focuses on using Behavioral Assessment tools to analyze and understand personnel by classifying personalities based on 17 core behavioral characteristics across 4 groups. The workshop included practical activities that allowed participants to practice interpreting behavioral assessment results and apply the concepts learned to team development within the context of their respective departments.
At the end of the event, Ms. Supreeya On-ingnon, Acting Director of the Human Resources Development Office, delivered the closing remarks and expressed gratitude to the speakers from Talent Codex Thailand and the participants for their cooperation and engagement throughout the training. She also added that this “PI Brush Up” activity serves as a pilot, which will guide future personnel development activities. The Human Resources Development Office is committed to promoting and supporting KMUTT personnel in receiving continuous opportunities to develop essential skills to prepare them for driving the university in an era of change.
