EESH Center and Physical Resources Administration Office Host Seminar on Teamwork and Sustainable Development
On March 1–2, 2019, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health (EESH) Management Center, in collaboration with the Physical Resources Administration Office at KMUTT Bangkhunthian, organized a seminar titled “Enhancing Teamwork Efficiency and Commitment to Advancing KMUTT as a Sustainable University for SDGs 2030” at Fisherman’s Resort in Phetchaburi Province. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Solos Suwannayuen, Vice President of KMUTT Bangkhunthian.
The seminar aimed to foster effective teamwork and promote continuous improvement in university operations. Participants engaged in group activities designed to build team cohesion, develop professional service standards, and align their work with KMUTT’s vision and policies.
As part of the seminar, participants visited the Chang Hua Man Royal Project in Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi, to learn about renewable energy and integrated agricultural practices. They also contributed to environmental conservation by cleaning up Cha-am Beach, reflecting KMUTT’s commitment to sustainability.
The event saw participation from 33 university administrators, staff, and network members, and was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, including:
- Goal 17: Strengthen partnerships for sustainable development, focusing on building relationships within the KMUTT sustainability network to enhance collaboration and prepare for future development.
- Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development, demonstrated through the beach cleanup activity.
This seminar reinforced KMUTT’s dedication to sustainability, teamwork, and professional excellence, fostering a stronger, more unified community capable of driving the university’s long-term goals.
