KMUTT Students and Staff Join #Trashtag Challenge to Clean the World Through “Bike Friday & Saturday Ride Fever”

Throughout March 2019, KMUTT students and staff actively participated in the global #trashtag and #trashtagTH movements under the theme “Time to Clean the World” as part of the Bike Friday & Saturday Ride Fever initiative. The campaign, titled “Ride to Change the World,” combined cycling activities with trash collection in communities around the university.

On March 22–23, participants cycled approximately 20 kilometers to the area around Wat Luang Pho Opasee, where they collected trash and encouraged local residents to join the cleanup efforts.

This activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among students and staff, fostering a culture of community engagement and social responsibility. Following this initiative, KMUTT plans to launch further campaigns focusing on reducing plastic usage, amplifying the message of sustainability through the #payitforward and #KMUTT movements.

The event highlighted KMUTT’s commitment to environmental stewardship and its dedication to making a positive impact on both the local community and the planet.
