On February 24, 2025, the Bachelor of Technology Program in Industrial Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), KMUTT, organized a seminar on the topic “How Necessary is ISO9001? Unveiling New Perspectives You Never Knew” under the IDT391 INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY SEMINAR AND GUIDANCE course for the 2/2024 academic year. The seminar was held for 50 third-year students in classroom CB30707, 7th floor, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (S13), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Dr. Pholsak Lertahiranpanya, the instructor for the IDT391 course, and Ajarn Sutthiphong Sopha, the project chairperson, presided over the opening of the event. The seminar featured Ajarn Thaworn Khonganurakkul, an independent organizational consultant, as the guest speaker who provided knowledge and shared experiences about ISO 9001:2015, an internationally recognized quality management system standard. The objective of the seminar was to prepare students to apply quality management knowledge in real-world work scenarios by enhancing their understanding of key principles of the standard, such as risk management, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Students who participated in the activity were equipped with knowledge and understanding of organizational development guidelines based on international standards, enabling them to apply this knowledge in their future work and enhance their quality management capabilities, which is a crucial factor for career advancement.
