KMUTT Strengthens Collaboration with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia

On 15 October 2026, a delegation from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasert Kanthamanon, Senior Vice President for Administrative Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chawin Chantharasenawong, Vice President for Internationalization, visited Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Republic of Indonesia.

During the visit, KMUTT and ITS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Agreement on Staff and Student Exchange, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing academic collaboration and internationalization at both institutions. The KMUTT delegation was welcomed by Prof. Nurul Widiastuti, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, together with representatives responsible for international relations and academic cooperation, as well as faculty members and researchers from various ITS departments.

The two institutions shared information on their university partnerships and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in education, staff and student exchanges, joint research, and internationalization. They also explored opportunities for future collaboration in areas of mutual potential.

The visit reflects KMUTT’s continued commitment to strengthening partnerships with leading universities across ASEAN and expanding opportunities for academic exchange, research collaboration, and international networking. These efforts aim to enhance the capabilities of staff and students while contributing to positive social impact at both regional and global levels.
