On April 25, 2023, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Assoc. Prof. Suchada Chaivasut, Acting Director of the EESH Center, along with the EESH Center team, the Building and Grounds Management Office, the KX Office, and the Green Heart student leader group, welcomed the administration and visitors from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna. The visit focused on exploring and observing KMUTT’s green university management system aimed at sustainability.
The meeting took place in the AD-909 conference room, located in the Office of the President building. Assoc. Prof. suchada chaisawadi, acting Director of the EESH Center, delivered a presentation on the green university management system and its orientation towards sustainability. Following the lecture, the visitors participated in a study tour, exchanging knowledge and developing mechanisms and approaches to drive energy, environmental, safety, and occupational health management systems.
The visitors showed keen interest and inquired about various aspects of sustainable management for maintaining a green university. This activity supports the creation of sustainable universities, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, particularly Goal 13, which promotes mechanisms to effectively plan and manage climate change-related activities in the country.
