On June 11, 2018, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH), in collaboration with the Energy Conservation Laboratory (Enconlab), Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Energy, Environment, and Materials, Building and Facility Management Office, and Bangmod Energy Management Task Force, organized the Train of Trainers Program on Energy Monitoring and Auditing in Buildings at the 7th floor of the Multipurpose Building, KMUTT.
The training, led by Mr. Anon Chuakerd, covered the following key topics:
- Use of instruments and tools for energy monitoring and auditing.
- Energy analysis techniques.
- Safety equipment and protocols during monitoring activities.
The program aimed to enhance the skills and knowledge of students and staff in conducting energy audits and monitoring energy consumption within university buildings. The data collected will support the development of updated energy usage information and contribute to effective energy conservation planning at KMUTT.
This initiative supports KMUTT’s vision of creating a sustainable university and aligns with SDG 2030, particularly:
- Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by promoting mechanisms for effective planning and management of climate-related initiatives.
By building capacity in energy management, this program reinforces KMUTT’s commitment to sustainability and climate action.
