King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, led by the student group Green Heart, showcased their sustainable innovation, MOD Bike, and received an honorary award in the student sustainability innovation contest at the 8th Annual Conference of the Sustainable University Network of Thailand. The event, held under the theme “Actions toward a Carbon Neutral Society,” took place on February 15-16, 2024, at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Bangkok. The Green Heart student group presented their work, highlighting their involvement in developing the innovation, planning, and being a driving force in the activity. The outcomes not only generated environmental and sustainability knowledge but also developed skills in various areas to foster sustainability within the KMUTT community. The competing team consisted of Miss Bazla Siripat, Mr. Chawish Supcharoen, and Mr. Saharat Sukhumthammarat, with the Office of Student Affairs, the Financial Aid for Students Unit, and the EESH serving as advisors throughout the activity. This initiative aligns with the SDGs 2030, specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
