The “Cultural Harmony for the Happiness of Thung Khru Community” event was organized with the aim of preserving, inheriting, and promoting local culture, traditions, and lifestyles, while also promoting local tourism by highlighting the unique characteristics of the Thung Khru area. This aligns with the policy of the Bangkok Governor, Mr. Chatchai Sittiphan, to promote the economy of 50 districts throughout Bangkok. The event supported the idea of reducing plastic waste and conserving the environment in honor of World Environment Day. Moreover, it emphasized the collaboration between the government, private sector, communities, and the public in environmental conservation. The event aligns with SDGs2030, specifically Goal 17 focusing on partnership building, Goal 12 emphasizing sustainable production and consumption, and Goal 13 addressing climate change impacts.
