King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), through its Sustainable Activity Promotion Group and the Energy Environment Safety and Health Center (EESH), in collaboration with KMUTT’s Student Affairs Office and the Financial Aid Group for Students, organized a waste management training program and a booth for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with 17 objectives. This was part of the Bangmod Midfield Project, held on September 22, 2023, at the Learning Garden of KMUTT. The student group Green Heart led the waste management activities, using the innovative “Speaker Bin” concept, which educates individuals about proper waste disposal to foster environmental awareness. This initiative also aimed to promote effective environmental management, creating a foundation for a sustainable green society in the future.

The event was well-received, serving as a model for future events and attracting over 500 participants. This initiative aligns with the SDG 2030 goals, particularly Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), promoting sustainable development practices.
