Assoc. Prof. Suchada Chaivasut, Director of the EESH Center, and Mr. Amornthep Kumsuk, were invited as trainers for the “Laboratory Safety Standards (ESPReL)” training course on January 12-13, 2023, at the Practical Chemistry Study Building of the Department of Science Service. Organized by the Department of Science Service, the training aimed to develop and prepare participants in various aspects, both theoretical and practical, towards achieving comprehensive laboratory safety standards across seven key areas.

Additionally, the training was intended to develop and propose practical methods for managing laboratories, fostering a culture of safety for both the individual and others involved. It also focused on building awareness among researchers, analysts, and scientists about their responsibilities towards society and the overall environment.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, ensuring inclusive and equitable education; Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being; Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, focusing on sustainable waste management systems; and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts for sustainable development.
