On the occasion of the Songkran Festival, the Thai New Year, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi organized a ceremony to bathe the Buddha image and pour water to seek blessings from the university’s senior faculty members on April 10, 2025, at the ground floor lobby of the President’s Office Building. The event was held to preserve Thai traditions and maintain the unique cultural identity of expressing respect and gratitude to elders. It was honored by the presence of University Council Vice-President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harit Sutabutr, University Advisor Dr. Krisanapong Kirtikara, Senior Advisor to the President Prof. Dr. Morakot Tanticharoen, President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, Senior Vice President for Administration Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasert Kanthamanon, Vice President for KMUTT Ratchaburi Ajarn Thanitsorn Chirapornchai, Advisor to the President Asst. Prof. Sumeth Angkasirikul, Advisor to Darunsikkhalai School Mr. Sanguansak Satayanon who received the water pouring and bestowed auspicious blessings. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harit Sutabutr, the University Council Vice-President, gave a blessing wishing everyone good health. In the context of the country facing various challenges, he asked everyone to be patient and successfully overcome all difficulties. Finally, he wished everyone a good working life and family life so that they can be happy and continue to help take care of society and the environment to remain in good condition.
