EESH Center Collaborates with the Physical Resource Administration Office at KMUTT Bangkhuntien to Plan Emergency Evacuation and Disaster Drill
The Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH), in collaboration with the Physical Resource Administration Office at KMUTT Bangkhuntien, hosted a preparatory meeting for the Emergency Evacuation and Disaster Drill Project at KMUTT Bangkhuntien. The meeting, chaired by Asst. Prof. Suchada Chaiyasawat, Director of the EESH Center, included Mr. Phadung Bunphet, Director of the Bangkhuntien Physical Resource Administration Office, alongside safety task force members and representatives from all buildings at the Bangkhuntien campus.
The participants worked collaboratively to draft an operational plan for the emergency evacuation and disaster drills. The task force then conducted a thorough inspection of emergency equipment across all buildings to ensure readiness and safety. The meeting and planning session took place on April 30, 2019, in the Saroch Conference Room at KMUTT Bangkhuntien.
This initiative aims to enhance knowledge and skills related to system preparedness, facility readiness, and staff training. The activity focuses on equipping building-specific and central emergency response teams at KMUTT to effectively conduct evacuation drills. These efforts align with KMUTT’s vision of becoming a Green University by emphasizing energy, environmental, safety, and occupational health management.
Furthermore, this activity supports SDG Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, with a particular focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of university personnel as a priority.
