EESH Center and Physical Resources Administration Office Host Professional Service Training Workshop at KMUTT Bangkhunthian

On December 17, 2018, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health (EESH) Management Center, in collaboration with the Physical Resources Administration Office at KMUTT Bangkhunthian, organized a Professional Service Training Workshop for university staff and outsourced service providers. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Phadung Boonpetch, representative of the EESH Center Director.

The workshop aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of KMUTT’s systems for energy management, waste management, safety, and emergency response. The target audience included cleaning staff, security personnel, maintenance workers, and landscaping staff. A team of experts from the EESH Center and the Physical Resources Administration Office conducted training sessions covering these critical topics.

This initiative was designed to unify service practices across the university, supporting KMUTT’s goal of becoming a sustainable green university. Over 130 participants attended the workshop, which promoted consistency in operational standards and adherence to sustainability principles.

The workshop also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, specifically:

  • Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable, with a focus on ensuring the safety of university personnel.
  • Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, emphasizing the university’s policies against foam usage and single-use plastics.
  • Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change by promoting environmental conservation and energy efficiency.

The event reinforced KMUTT’s commitment to fostering a safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible campus community.
