On March 10, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) welcomed representatives from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), along with various external stakeholders including alumni, vendors, contractors, training program participants from the Center for Continuing Education, and current students. These stakeholders play a vital role as key service recipients and contributors to the university’s ecosystem.

The purpose of the visit was to conduct the External Integrity and Transparency Assessment (EIT – Part 2) at the Jamrat Chayapong Meeting Room, Classroom Building 2 (CB2). The session was opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Taweesak Kritcharoen, Assistant to the President for Human Resources and Vice Chair of the ITA Task Force, who welcomed the participants. The session was moderated by Mr. Chatchai Mungtanya, Director of the President’s Office, with support from Ms. Chantana Phutharaporn, Advisor to the Office of the President, as well as members of the ITA Task Force and representatives from university departments.

This was the third time that KMUTT hosted this type of assessment. During the session, NACC officials explained the assessment process and collected data from more than 65 respondents across various stakeholder groups. The data collection was conducted in accordance with the research methodology and standards set by the NACC.

KMUTT participates in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) on an annual basis. Over the years, the university has used feedback from these assessments to identify and improve operational weaknesses. This ongoing process reflects KMUTT’s commitment to continuous improvement, transparency, and ethical governance. The current session serves as a vital channel for external feedback, which will be used to further enhance and standardize the university’s operations in a sustainable and transparent manner.
