On March 27, 2024, the Energy Environment Safety and Health (EESH Center) collaborated with the Physical Resource Management Office, Bang Khun Thian Campus, Mahidol University, to organize the Mangrove Forest Planting activity for March 2567. The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, the President, along with the faculty, students, staff, and community members of Mahidol University. Together, they planted 200 mangrove seedlings and 1,200 mangrove trees along the coastline, and also conducted a nature walk around the ecosystem of Plots 3 and 4, Mahidol University, Phra Jom Klao Technological College, Ban Phanthai Norasing, Muang District, Samut Sakhon Province.

The purpose of this activity was to conserve and restore national resources, promote environmental balance, reduce the impact of greenhouse gas emissions, and preserve the biodiversity of the area. Additionally, this activity aligned with sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 13: Climate Action, Goal 14: Life Below Water, and Goal 15: Life on Land. Furthermore, it contributed to the sustainable development agenda by focusing on and promoting carbon neutrality projects as a fair way to give back to society and our world.
