On June 18, 2024, the Safety Assessment Committee from the Bangkok Labor Protection Office, Zone 2, visited KMUTT Bangmod to evaluate its safety management system. The visit was hosted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, along with administrators from various university departments including the Office of Building and Facility Management, Student Affairs Office, Library Office, Health and Wellness Services Group, Strategic Communication and Marketing Group, Asset Management and Property Group, EESH Center, and other internal units.
The assessment took place in the Pinitwittaya Conference Room (V Space), 14th Floor, Multidisciplinary Learning Building (LX), where Mr. Amorntep Khumsuk, Safety Manager from the EESH Center, presented the safety management system in line with the university’s sustainability policy focusing on energy, environment, and safety management: KMUTT TOTAL COMMITMENT: Safety in all we do.
The committee also toured the safety exhibition and the safety and emergency management systems, which included a royal exhibition at the Library Office, an exhibition on the 12 Core Values, CCTV safety system, emergency notification system, and the Community Learning Center for Emergency Medicine. The committee praised KMUTT’s safety management system and provided recommendations for further sustainability.
