KMUTT provide N95 mask to security guard

KMUTT Distributes N95 Masks to Security Staff and Raises Awareness on PM2.5 Pollution

On January 14, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), distributed N95 masks to 125 security personnel stationed at the university. The masks were provided to protect them from fine particulate matter pollution (PM2.5) while on duty.

Additionally, the university conducted an awareness campaign to educate students, staff, and service workers about the dangers of PM2.5 pollution and how to protect themselves effectively. The campaign emphasized the proper use of N95 masks to ensure safety for the university community and the general public.

This initiative reflects KMUTT’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of its community and neighboring society, aligning with its vision of becoming a Healthy University.

The effort also supports the SDG 2030, specifically:

  • Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.

Through these actions, KMUTT reinforces its role as a proactive institution in fostering public health and environmental responsibility.
