EESH Center and Student Financial Aid Unit Collaborate on Tree-Planting Activity to Promote Green Spaces and Pollution Reduction

The Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH), in partnership with the Student Financial Aid Unit, organized a tree-planting activity involving over 50 students. The initiative aimed to create green spaces and reduce pollution along the Phutthabucha Road near Thonburirom Park, which is set to become a model road under Bangkok’s Clean Road Project.

The event was organized by the Thung Khru District Office, led by Mr. Polchalerm Sormonnee, Thung Khru District Director, and included participation from local community members. KMUTT, as an educational institution in the area, collaborated with various organizations and stakeholders to address and reduce dust pollution in Bangkok.

This activity reflects KMUTT’s commitment to community collaboration and its role in identifying root causes and developing sustainable solutions for pollution management. The event aligns with the SDGs 2030 goals, specifically:

  • Goal 11: Sustainable cities and communities.
  • Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all.

By working together with the community and social networks, this initiative contributes to long-term urban sustainability and environmental health.
