KMUTT Donates Prototype COVID-19 Test Station Made From Old Phone Booth to TOT Pub. Co., Ltd.

29 December 2020, at Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO) building, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi held a delivery ceremony for donation of COVID-19 test station prototyped from old phone booth as part of the academic service between the university and TOT pub. co., ltd. In the ceremony, Sunaree Lawallayawat, lecturer at Faculty of Architecture and Design, as head of the project, delivered the prototype to TOT pub. co., ltd. 2 out of 4 were initially delivered so that TOT may use the prototype to reproduce for real operation. The design could also be used by hospitals and health stations where medical assistance is scarce and at border areas where risk for COVID-19 is high. The prototype may be used for medical and public health benefits.
