Assistant Professor Suchada Chaiyaswat, Director of the EESH Center, and Mr. Padung Boonpech, Director of the Physical Resources Administration Office at KMUTT Bang Khun Thian, along with executives from various university departments, and teams from the Physical Resources Administration Office, EESH Center, various laboratories, and other units, welcomed an expert committee from the Bangkok Area 2 Labor Protection and Welfare Office for the “Safe Institution Evaluation for the Year 2023” held on June 12, 2023. The evaluation took place at the Thian Thale 2 Conference Room, Bioprocess Research and Innovation Building (BRI).
Mr. Padung Boonpech presented the university’s safety management system, highlighting its commitment to becoming a sustainable university with excellent energy, environmental, and safety management, under the banner “KMUTT TOTAL COMMITMENT: Safety in all we do” which translates to “KMUTT is firmly committed to safety in every aspect we engage in.”
The committee was also given a tour showcasing various safety exhibitions, management systems, and specific safety protocols in the Bioproducts Characterization and Testing Laboratory (BPCL), waste storage buildings, and the security measures in place, including the CCTV system. In the academic year 2023, KMUTT had applied to participate in the Safe Institution competition. The expert committee commended KMUTT’s management systems and provided valuable feedback for future improvements in safety management.
