The Faculty of Science, KMUTT, organized the “Sharing & Mentoring” activity, the second sub-activity under the Curriculum Design and Development Workshop Project Focusing on Learning Outcomes for the Fiscal Year 2025. The goal was for programs undergoing their periodic curriculum revision and scheduled to commence in the 2026 academic year to present their curriculum design concepts and details, and to receive advice from expert mentoring faculty members. This aimed to comprehensively enhance the quality of the faculty’s programs. A total of three sessions were held at the Sci-Connect Room, Faculty of Science, with the following details:
Session 1: March 26, 2025, 09:00-13:00 hrs. Two programs undergoing revision were presented: Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (International Program) and M.Sc. in Chemistry Education. Three mentoring faculty members provided curriculum design advice: Asst. Prof. Dr. Wimonsiri Preedasawas, Dr. Aim-on Saksangvichit, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nongphanga Khunchak.
Session 2: April 2, 2025, 09:00-13:00 hrs. Three programs undergoing revision were presented: M.Sc./Ph.D. in Frontier Nanoscience and Technology (International Program) and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics. Two mentoring faculty members provided curriculum design advice: Ajarn Bowornsak Skulkoosuk and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nongphanga Khunchak.
Session 3: April 4, 2025, 09:00-13:00 hrs. Five programs undergoing revision were presented: M.Sc./Ph.D. in Chemistry, M.Sc. in Mathematics Education, and M.Sc./Ph.D. in Applied Microbiology and Food Technology. Three mentoring faculty members provided curriculum design advice: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surawut Chuangchote, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kritika Tanprasert, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nongphanga Khunchak.
Furthermore, the faculty is preparing to organize the next activity on “Learning Management Processes, Monitoring, Tracking, and Learning Outcome Assessment Based on Quality Management Guidelines” on May 28, 2025. This aims to enhance understanding and capabilities in designing high-quality curricula that can be effectively adapted to develop programs aligned with standards and learner needs.
