On April 28, 2025, the Faculty of Science, KMUTT, organized an internship preparation project for students in the Food Science and Technology program on the topic of “Basic Experimental Design Statistics Training with Emphasis on Analysis (SPSS).” The training was held in computer lab SCL703, 7th floor, Building N7, with Assistant Professor Dr. Sukumal Sarikavanich, a lecturer from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, KMUTT, serving as the speaker, sharing her knowledge and experience with the students.
This training aimed to equip students with knowledge about the principles of basic experimental design, including statistical data analysis using the SPSS program for summarizing results and comparing various statistical values. It also aimed to ensure that students understand scientific principles and data analysis, which are essential skills for research work or internships in the industry, particularly in the field of food science. The training included examples and hands-on practice with datasets using the SPSS program to comprehensively enhance understanding and skills.
This project is another significant activity that the Faculty of Science continuously organizes to prepare students before they enter their actual internships, as well as to enhance the presentation skills necessary for professional work in the modern world.
