The Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health Management Center (EESH) joined the opening ceremony of the ME Energy Saving Day 2022 on November 25, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Area, Floor 1, Wisavawattana Building. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Saetia, the President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Athikom Wongsathornwaris, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, welcomed the attendees. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amornrat Kaewpradap, Chairperson of the Event and Chairperson of the Energy Conservation Working Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, reported on the background and objectives of the event. Prof. Dr. Chai Jaturapitakkul, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Suchada Chaisawadi, Assistant Director of the EESH, expressed their congratulations and appreciation. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Piyathida Triyanurak Kaeojinda, Vice Chairperson of the Event, reported on the operational results. The event aimed to raise awareness about water and energy conservation, responding to the energy conservation policy of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. It also disseminated knowledge and understanding about energy conservation and the value of water usage through exhibitions and educational games. The event attracted the interest of more than 200 KMUTT community members, including teachers and students. This activity aligns with the university’s goal of sustainable development according to the SDGs 2030, specifically targeting Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and Goal 13: Climate Action, emphasizing the importance of limited energy and water resources and preparedness for climate change and its impacts
