On January 25, 2023, the Energy, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH Center) organized a practical training program focusing on energy management, environmental safety, and low carbon initiatives for the contracted employees of KMUTT Ratchaburi. The workshop, held under the theme ‘KMUTT Green & LOW CARBON,’ aimed to raise awareness and understanding of energy management systems, waste management, safety standards, and emergency response within the university. This training was targeted at cleaning staff, security personnel, and gardening staff, with experts from the EESH Center providing insights on these topics.
The training was designed to foster a uniform approach to practices across the university, supporting KMUTT’s commitment to becoming a sustainable green university and progressing towards KMUTT Carbon Neutrality by 2040. The event was conducted following social distancing guidelines and under the KMUTT New Normal operational principles.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, focusing on the safety of university personnel; Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, promoting policies against the use of foam and single-use plastics; and Goal 13: taking action for Climate Change by conserving the environment and energy.
