The Energy, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH Center) organized a practical training workshop titled “Energy, Environmental, and Safety Management System at KMUTT Bang Mod.” The event was held for officials and contracted employees of KMUTT Bang Mod on March 25, 2023, at the Jamruschaiyapong Room, General Education Building 2.

This training was conducted to raise awareness and understanding of energy management systems, waste management, safety standards, research laboratory safety in Thailand, and emergency response procedures within the university. It targeted cleaning staff, security personnel, and gardeners. The EESH Center faculty and Green Heart student leaders shared their knowledge on these topics.

The workshop aimed to establish a unified understanding and practice across the university, supporting KMUTT’s commitment to being a sustainable green university and progressing towards KMUTT Carbon Neutrality by 2040. The event was organized in accordance with social distancing principles and the KMUTT New Normal operational guidelines.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, particularly Goal 11, focusing on making cities sustainable and emphasizing the safety of university personnel, Goal 12, promoting sustainable consumption and the policy of avoiding single-use plastics and foam, and Goal 13, conserving the environment and energy to combat global warming.
