Big cleaning day at KMUTT Bangkhunthein

EESH Center and Physical Resource Administration Office Organize “PDTI Big Cleaning Day” at KMUTT Bangkhuntien

From April 1–5, 2019, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH), in collaboration with the Physical Resource Administration Office at KMUTT Bangkhuntien, hosted the PDTI Big Cleaning Day under the project “Clean, Safe, Pollution- and Waste-Free Bangkhuntien Campus.” This event was organized to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the Royal Coronation Ceremony.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Annop Noparat, Director of the Pilot Plant Development and Training Institute (PDTI), with Mr. Sorasek Kulmai, the project leader, handing over antifungal solutions to representatives of various units and laboratories. Following this, KMUTT staff participated in cleaning their workspaces, sorting waste, and removing mold from both work areas and nearby locations.

The event aimed to promote environmental responsibility and encourage active participation from KMUTT personnel in initiatives that benefit the environment. It also served as a platform to demonstrate social responsibility. A total of 100 participants joined the activity, reflecting KMUTT’s commitment to sustainability.

The event aligns with SDG Goal 11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. It emphasized creating awareness and fostering a culture of maintaining clean and safe workplaces.
