Safe Drinking Water Program

In line with KMUTT’s commitment to water conservation and health, the Safe Drinking Water Program plays a crucial role in delivering safe drinking water and managing clean wastewater on campus. Established in 2007 as part of the KMUTT Water Conservation Policy, this program is dedicated to providing high-quality drinking water for the entire university community.

The Safe Drinking Water Program regularly monitors water quality at all drinking water stations across campus, including those in canteens, cafeterias, food centers, minimarts, and campus restaurants. Monthly testing is conducted through KMUTT’s Central Laboratory Services and the Food Safety Center in the Faculty of Science to ensure that water meets rigorous health and safety standards.

Since 2013, the university has also promoted the Personal Mug Campaign, encouraging students and staff to use reusable mugs at any of the 119 water bottle filling stations across campus. This campaign not only reduces plastic waste but also fosters a culture of sustainability and health awareness among students and staff.

Through these initiatives, KMUTT sets a high standard for water safety and environmental responsibility, creating a safer, greener, and healthier campus for everyone.
