KMUTT Wins Best Practice Award for Sustainable Mobility at SUN Thailand 2018

King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) was honored with the Best Practice Award for Sustainable Mobility during the 3rd Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand) Conference 2018, held on October 25, 2018, at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus.

Mr. Patchara Tanavesarachakul, Project Coordinator for the Bicycle Society at KMUTT’s Energy, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Center (EESH), represented the university to receive the award and present the project “KMUTT Walk and Bike Society.” The award was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Parinya Dewanruji, Chair of SUN Thailand.

The presentation highlighted KMUTT’s efforts to:

  • Promote cycling and walking as sustainable modes of transportation within the university.
  • Organize activities and initiatives that encourage sustainable travel on and around the campus.

The project reflects KMUTT’s commitment to fostering a culture of environmentally friendly and sustainable mobility, supporting the university’s overarching sustainability goals.
