KMUTT Bangkhuntien Unites to Plant Bamboo in Royal Tribute on the Anniversary of King Rama IX’s Birth

On December 2, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) Bangkhuntien organized the event “5th December – KMUTT Unites to Plant Bamboo for Carbon Absorption” as a royal tribute for Father’s Day, coinciding with the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama IX) and World Soil Day. The event was attended by the university’s administrators, staff, and contracted employees. Together, they planted 99 bamboo trees around the KMUTT Bangkhuntien campus. This activity was conducted in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on his birthday, December 5th. It promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 13: Climate Action, highlighting the importance of limited resources and preparedness for climate change and its impacts, and Goal 15: Life on Land, which emphasizes the protection, restoration, and promotion of sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems.
