King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, through its student group Green Heart, participated in presenting the project “Student Activities Develop Community, Create Sustainable Hearts”. They won the second runner-up prize in the University Student Project Competition 2023 for sustainable student projects, under the theme “Actions toward the low-carbon world” at the 7th Annual Conference of the Sustainable University Network of Thailand. The event took place on January 19-20, 2023, at Srinakharinwirot University in Ongkharak, Nakhon Nayok.

The Green Heart student group showcased their operational results, which included active participation in planning and implementing activities that generated knowledge in environmental and sustainable aspects. These activities not only developed various skills and created sustainability for the KMUTT community but also extended these sustainable seeds to the surrounding community, yielding tangible results.

The student team in the competition comprised Ms. Anusara Tangpeerashit, Mr. Darunpat Wiyakarn, and Mr. Peeranut Trakarnsatitnukul, advised by the EESH Center and the Student Financial Aid group. Their operations aligned with the SDGs 2030, specifically Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals.
