King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi joined in solidarity with other sustainable universities in anti-climate change campaign as one of the Bangkok network organization and imposed 1-hour blackout to fight back climate change (60+ Earth Hour 2021) on 27 March 2021 at Central World department store. KMUTT was selected as a role model for Thung Khru and Bangkhunthian district for turning off unneeded lights for 1 hour from 20:30 to 21:30 in unison with the rest of the world, showing the capability to adjust our behavior in order to reduce environmental impact from unnecessary electrical usage.
