Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS) of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA),  Mahidol University, KMUTT, National Biopharmaceutical Facility (NBF), National Blood Center, National Vaccine Institute (Public Organization), Kin Gen Biotech Co., Ltd., Berli Jucker Public Co. Ltd and Pharma Nueva Co., Ltd. held a press conferece on “Progress on the development of the national biofuel drug.” It is stated that this is a Phase 1 of the project, with a period of 5 years, with objectives to increase the potential of Thailand to produce pharmaceutical products by themselves and increase opportunities for high quality products with affordable price. This project also aims to reduce the import of medicine and create independence for Thailand. Currently, it has been 3 years and the project is moving forward to the production in accordance with GMP standard to achieve both medical and financial results.
