On the important global environmental occasion of International E-Waste Day, October 14th this year, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) collaborates with AIS and various other entities, including more than 190 organizations from both public and private sectors, to propel the “Thai People Free of E-Waste” environmental campaign. In this initiative, KMUTT elevates its role to become part of the HUB of E-Waste, taking an active part as a HUB of Drop Points. This involves expanding the network of over 2,500 E-Waste disposal points across the country. The university aims to promote awareness among its students, staff, and community about sorting waste and properly disposing of electronic waste, with a goal of zero e-waste to landfill, or Zero e-waste to landfill. This promotes an efficient and sustainable waste management system within the university. The participation of all sectors within KMUTT and its network leads to collaborative efforts in addressing environmental problems sustainably.”
