On September 27, 2024, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) proudly received the prestigious “Outstanding Safety Educational Institution Award” from the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare for the fifth consecutive year.

This year’s award ceremony was led by Mr. Pruek Prompantom, Director of the Bangkok Area 2 Office of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, along with a panel of esteemed officials. Representing KMUTT to receive the award were Asst. Prof. Dr. Santi Charoenpornpattana, Vice President for Planning and Strategy, and the safety operations team from the Energy, Environment, Safety and Health Center (EESH).

KMUTT has been lauded for its highly efficient and consistent safety management system, which fosters a sustainable safety culture within the university.
