The Center for Energy, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management (EESH Center) led by the Sustainable Activities Promotion Group collaborates to organize an exhibition and activities themed “Green Fun Fest” as a part of the GCDC FUN FEST 2023: Better Me, Better U for Better World. This event is organized by the Global Competence Development Center (GCDC) of the Faculty of Arts, the Language Department, and the Office of General Education. It took place from May 1-3, 2023, at the ground floor of the Faculty of Arts.

Assistant Professor Dr. Prasert Kanthamanon, acting as the Deputy Dean of Administration, chaired the opening ceremony. Assistant Professor Suchada Chaisawasdi, the acting director of the EESH Center, also participated in the opening ceremony and was invited to join a panel discussion on the topic “Sustainability… Starts with Us.” This panel included administrators, faculty members, and students, aiming to exchange and share diverse perspectives on sustainability.

The purpose of this event is to raise students’ awareness and foster a sense of responsibility regarding various environmental issues that arise in global society. It also seeks to expand the positive impacts of sustainability, leading to the creation of a sustainable green society in the future. Moreover, this event aims to build a learning network. The activities align with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, specifically:

  • Goal 2: Zero Hunger
  • Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
  • Goal 4: Quality Education
  • Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
  • Goal 13: Climate Action
  • Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals.
