On September 16, 2024, the Energy, Environment, Safety, and Health (EESH) Management Center joined forces with the Office of Student Affairs and the Student Administrative Organization of KMUTT to host the Annual Activity Fair 2024 under the theme “NewGen Net Zero – A Carbon-Free Lifestyle”. The event took place at the 3rd floor of the Physical Training Facility in the King Mongkut Memorial Building to welcome new students for the academic year 2024.

The fair provided an opportunity to introduce various university clubs and organizations while raising awareness about sustainable living and environmental responsibility.

Key Highlights of the Event:

  • How to Be Green Heart:
    An engaging exhibition promoting green habits and fostering environmentally conscious behaviors among students.
  • Say No to Single-Use Plastics Campaign:
    Encouraging students to adopt sustainable alternatives and reduce plastic waste.
  • Net Zero Man Website Demonstration:
    Students learned how to calculate their greenhouse gas emissions and received practical advice on reducing their carbon footprints. This hands-on activity helped participants understand their role in combating climate change and transitioning to a sustainable future.

The event emphasized KMUTT’s commitment to tackling climate change and building a healthier, more resilient world for both present and future generations. It also reinforced the university’s mission to lead by example in sustainable practices through collaboration with its student community.
